Ghostie World is the whimsical core of Mai Darling Designs. It’s where little spirits like Ghosties, Ghostlings, Mosslings, The Moon Kitty and many others live , each with their own meaning, message, magic. 

These stories aren’t just fantasy, but also mirrors that might help up see a little clearer on a cloudy day and dream a little bigger.

🌈 Who is behind all this magic?

Hi, I’m Maikki, your friendly Ghostie maker, the artist and storyteller behind Mai Darling Designs.

I sculpt, paint, photograph and write and create every part of this world by hand — from miniature sculptures to dioramas and storybooks.

With a background in art, performing arts, education and storytelling,  from years of performing and teaching to sculpting and writing, I’ve spent my life shaping stories that invite wonder, play and joy.

Mai Darling Designs has grown from that journey into both an artistic practice and a heartfelt mission:

To bring more joy, imagination, and meaning into everyday life – to evoke the sparkle within.
